বাংলাদেশ আওয়ামী লীগের যুগ্ম সাধারণ সম্পাদক ও শিক্ষামন্ত্রী ডা. দীপু মনি বলেছেন, ভোট দেওয়ার সময় সুরা নিসার ৮৫ নম্বর আয়াত মাথায় রাখতে হবে।
শনিবার চট্টগ্রামের হাটহাজারীর ছিপাতলি আলিয়া মাদ্রাসা মাঠে বিভাগীয় মাদ্রাসাশিক্ষক সমাবেশে প্রধান অতিথির বক্তব্যে তিনি এ কথা বলেন।
শিক্ষামন্ত্রী বলেন, সুরা নিসার ৮৫ নম্বর আয়াতে আল্লাহ বলেছেন- কেউ কোনো ভালো কাজের সুপারিশ করলে সেটার মধ্যে তার অংশ থাকবে। আর কেউ মন্দ কাজের সুপারিশ করলে তার মধ্যেও তার অংশ থাকবে। এটার মানে কী? আমার সুপারিশের কারণে কেউ যদি কোনো দায়িত্বে যায়, আর সে যদি কোনো খারাপ কাজ করে তার দায়িত্ব কিন্তু আমার ঘাড়ে নিতে হবে।
আমি যাকে ভোট দিয়ে নির্বাচিত করব- সে যেন খারাপ কাজ না করে, এতিমের অর্থ আত্মসাৎ না করে, অন্য ধর্মাবলম্বীদের ওপর অত্যাচার না করে।
ডা. দীপু মনি বলেন, যারা একটি দেশের স্বাধীনতাকে ঠেকাতে ব্যর্থ হয়ে জাতির জনককে সপরিবারে শেষ করতে চায়, বোমা মেরে মানুষ হত্যা করতে চায় এবং শুধু রাজনৈতিক আদর্শের কারণে গ্রেনেড হামলা করে নারী-শিশুদের হত্যা করতে চায়- তারা কি ইসলামের পক্ষে কাজ করেছে? আল্লাহ পাক কুরআনে সুস্পষ্ট করে বলেছেন- এতিমের সম্পদের কাছে যেও না।
অথচ তারা এতিমের সম্পদ মেরে খায়, তারা হত্যা, ধর্ষণ ও লুণ্ঠন করে। যারা সত্যকে গোপন করে মিথ্যা প্রচার করেন, তারা কারা আপনারা জানেন।
মাদ্রাসা শিক্ষা অধিদপ্তরের মহাপরিচালক হাবিবুর রহমানের সভাপতিত্বে এতে বিশেষ অতিথি ছিলেন- কারিগরি ও মাদরাসা শিক্ষা বিভাগের সিনিয়র সচিব মো. কামাল হোসেন ও ইসলামি আরবি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের উপাচার্য ড. মুহাম্মদ আব্দুর রশীদ।
