Bangladeshi American citizen Muhith Mahmood has been appointed as a new councilman of Hamtramck City Council, Michigan.
Adam Albarmaki was elected as the councilman of Hamtramck City Council In the last election which was held on November 2, 2021.
But Albarmaki has recently resigned from the post and left Michigan to live in another state.
For this, Muhith Mahmood, who scored the second position in the election, was appointed as a new councilman.
A councilman is supposed to serve in this position for four years.
This achievement of Mahmood has spread happiness among the Bangladeshi community living in Michigan.
