Xi Jinping now China’s President for 3rd term

Xi Jinping became China’s President for the third time at the 20th Congress of the Communist Party (CCP) of China.

He is considered to be the most powerful Chinese leader since Mao Tse Tung.

Chinese President Xi Jinping won a third term as the country’s leader. Besides, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China has elected Xi Jinping as the general secretary of the party.

At this time, apart from the leader, the CCP elected seven members of the Politburo Standing Committee.

President Xi introduced the new committee to reporters.

Earlier, the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party the country started on October 16 in Beijing, the capital of China.

The high-ranking members of the party attended this week-long congress.

They discussed the fundamental and important policies of China and elected Xi Jinping and seven members of the Politburo as the new leader.

It was predicted that Xi Jinping would remain as party leader for the third term.

Xi, 69, now holds China’s three most powerful positions. He is currently the general secretary of the Communist Party of China and the chairman of the country’s armed forces.
