বাজারে পণ্যের দাম দিন দিন বৃদ্ধি পাচ্ছে।সাধারণ মানুষ তাদের আয়ের সাথে ব্যয়ের সামঞ্জস্য করতে পারছে না। আসন্ন রমজানে বাজারে পণ্যের দাম আরো একধাপ বাড়ার আশংকা করছে সাধারণ মানুষ। বাজারে কার্যত কোন মনিটরিং নেই।
ফলে ব্যবসায়ীদের সিন্ডিকেটের কাছে একরকম জিম্মি সাধারণ ক্রেতামহল।
ব্যবসায়ীদের অভিযোগ হলো বাজারে সরবরাহ কম।এর জন্য ডলারের সংকটকে দায়ী মনে করছেন তারা। ডলারের জন্য আমদানির বিপরীতে এলসি খোলতে পারছেন না তারা।
এ অবস্থায় তারা সরকারও বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংকের কার্যকর ভূমিকা দেখতে চান।
